I slept my 6-7 hours throughout all the worst of that. Have completed advanced directives, which was somewhat stressful but, again, that was during my "good" sleep period on CPAP. That stress is past.
I really HAVE noticed + changes in TP, energy, stamina--am walking/exercising in significantly better ways.
This decreased skeeo business has happened just the past 4-5 days.
Last night was weird--went to sleep 2:00 a.m. (typical), on CPAP, woke at 6: a..m., was REALLY cold 'cause furnace was turned off and it got cold outside--got up, bathroom run, got another blanket, turned heat on, topped off humidification receptacle, got back in bed with my mask in my hand--was lying in bed trying to get warm and, yeah, you guessed it, went to sleep with my mask IN MY HAND.
(Had every intention of putting it back on as soon as I got warm).
Then slept like a rock till 10:00 a.m. and DREAMED, really vivid, lively dreams, one in particular which lasted a long time. (I have no memory of dreaming even on CPAP for a long time).....what do you (or anyone) make of THAT????? It's just totally different from anything I've experienced to date.
The mask was still in my hand when I woke up!!!
I think the whole thing is just bizarre....

I am wondering if there aren't other sleeping problems besides Sleep Apnea. And, couldn't someone have both sleep apnea and something else.
For me, I have recently been diagnosed with sleep apnea, don't yet have my equipment. Almost every night I wake up around 2 or 3 am (usually go to sleep between 11 pm and 12 midnight). I'm then up for anywhere from 30 min to 2 hours. Is this related to the apnea-- or possibly something else?
Thanks!

there are over 90 different sleep disorders. Apnea, insomnia, PLMS, narcolepsy, and poor sleep hygeine are the most common.
