Howdy,

Welcome to the forum.

We are a group of patients and professionals that, although we can not diagnose nor treat any medical conditon via the internet, can offer suggestions and tips to help struggling patients become more compliant using their cpap machines, provide moral support for those that seek other means of treating their apnea.

There are many sleep disorders besides sleep apnea and many times two or more sleep disorders coexist for patients. Treating your sleep apnea may improve your other sleep disorders, though for some that doesn't hold true.

With the help of sleep apnea forums such as SleepGuide helped me to become 100% compliant and improve my over all health. SleepGuide is here to help the struggling patient improve their quality of life. They accomplish this with the help of volunteer forum members. Please feel free to join "our" family and ask questions, make comments, suggestions, ideas, and make friends while learning about various sleep disorders and their treatment.

Again, Welcome to the Forum!!

Hi Paul!! Welcome to SleepGuide. We're happy to have you join us. This is a very active site with a LOT of apnea patients, and quite a few sleep professionals who donate their time to help us out, including among others, MDs and sleep techs.

I think you'll find this to be a very caring and open community. People really care and want to be helpful with info and support for each other.

I have OSA, diagnosed in late June this year, have been on SleepGuide for about 4 months. Honestly, I'm not sure I'd have even begun treatment, must less stayed with it without the support I've had from SG. I'm finally beginning to do better now. Long haul but worth it for sure.

So again welcome, and I'll look forward to seeing you online. Feel free to jump into any Discussion that's of interest to you and/or to begin a Discussion of your own. (See your own Page for the how-to's).

Take care, and don't be a stranger!!

Susan McCord :-)
