Hi Outlaw--hey, lots of people are wary about the first sleep test. If you have any specific questions or concerns, or if you just wanta talk about it, feel free to post a Discussion--I promise you're not the only person who has, or previously had, the same issue(s).
I know you're right about CPAP helping you--and that will lead to a positive outcome for your wife too if, in fact, she's been trying to sleep with an apnean!!

If you decide to post a Discussion, you might think of a heading something like "Worried about first sleep study" or "I have questions about upcoming sleep study" (something like that)--it will make clear what you need feedback and support about.

THANK YOU for the inside info on the mattress! That will be helpful if and when I decide to do this.

I don't really have problems with mobility, just some osteoarthritis here and there. As long as I keep moving, I feel pretty good (except for the sleep issue!).

Where are you in terms of your apnea treatment?

What kind of mattress do you recommend for old sleep apnea patients? I'm 67 with the usual set of aches and pains that come with aging. My kids want me to get a new mattress--I'm not sure I need one but would like to know what you think.

I'm also interested in the fact that you know about sleep disorders because you sell mattresses. Is that part of your training? If so, good for whatever company you work for. I wouldn't have expected that from a sales person.....
