I'm a respiratory therapist (RRT) at a Sleep for Life in Hillsborough, NJ. It is a sleep lab as well as a sleep clinic. I do patient assessments, equipment set ups and patient follow ups and work closely with sleep physicians to provide better care for our patients. I'm also a doctoral student at Seton Hall University. Has nothing to do with sleep apnea. More with insomnia when trying to finish the dissertation. I am here as a support person as well as a student. It will benefit my patients learning what works for other patients and applying it in my everyday job. As a scientist I believe in trial and error. Personally, I am a single mother of an adorable 3 year old little girl. I also have a cat that contributes to my insomnia by sleeping on top of me every night.
