Hi Bee, looks like I am talking to myself again! I left my reply on my own page instead of yours. I live in Wheat Ridge.

Hey Bee-girl!! Thanks for the friend-back!!
I needed to talk with you 'cause you're on a short list of SG members I'm cntacting for short-term site support, on behalf of Mike.

You may or may not know that Mike and his wife, Melinda, are expecting their first baby, a little daughter, any minute!! There will probably be a C-section in the next day or two.

He does NOT want this info out on SG till he's ready to announce it himself.

Mike's concerned about SG being covered as he'll be offsite late tonight 10/29 for possibly a few days. We talked today and agreed that I ask a few select members to help monitor things till his return. (No admin involved--just an increased awareness of being certain that members' concerns are responded to in a timely manner. Same thing a lot of us do, but with a little more attention to not letting anything go unanswered or ignored). Anyway, I'm checking to see who of the really dedicated, helpful folks might be willing and/or able to hrlp out so he can relax and tend to his new family. I have 13 people on my hoped-for list, one of whom is you, IF you're available.

No one will have full responsibility for it--those of us involved are gonna share it so it's not a burden for anyone. So if you would let me know if you're interested, I'd appreciate it.

Mike's so thrilled with the prospect of having this little girl.....very touching to hear that kind of commitment from a young, first-time daddy......

Thanks for your consideration of this, Bee--several people have already accepted, so I think we can manage just fine. Would love to have your steady hand on board.

Susan McCord :-)

Funny you should mention the raw diet. I was just reading about it online. I mentioned it to my husband and he doesnt think that it would be healthy to give a dog raw meat. But, I may still give it a whirl. I'm fiesty that way....lol. Thanks for your help Bee!!

Jayla will not eat dry food, no matter what we do. We've tried, we've mixed it in with rice and chicken, she eats around it and leaves the dry in the bowl. She wont even eat canned dog food, so the past week that we've had her, I've been making her chicken in rice with a little chicken broth, but Im sure she's not getting the nutrition she needs.

Hi Bee,
Love those names.....we absolutely love her!! She is sooooo affectionate. Can you tell me what you feed yours? She's very finicky when it comes to eating.

Hi Bee, there is a pillow that i like personally quite a lot. The Oxygen Pillow. The reason I like it is that it works to prop up your head in an optimal position for oxygen to get to the lungs, but not in a way that you can tell -- it's totally comfortable and in a familiar shape. It's also ideal for using with a CPAP mask because it's just firm enough so that the mask and your face won't sink into the pillow. Happy to discuss further. I have one myself, and got one for my wife too.

Sorry about leaving my comment for sleepcarol on your page, BeeAsleep - I'm still getting used to the functions!

Thanks sleepycarol! The diagnosis was not expected by my neurologist or my ENT, so I'm still getting my head around it. I know it may sound strange, but I was actually kind of glad; I could tell everyone around me, though trying to be supportive of my continued problems, were doubting that anything was 'really' wrong... Now I know, and they understand, what I was going through and why, and am hopeful about the treatment. I'm looking forward to alleviating many of my symptoms and problems, getting a good night's sleep, and being my 'old self' again!
