Welcome to the forum Kellie!!

I am glad you are here.

What exactly do you hate about your machine? How long have you had it? What is your pressure settings? Which machine do you have -- the name and model? What type of mask are you using?

If you can post some information we maybe able to help you so that you don't hate your machine so much.

ask them what your "AHI" was --- that's the Apnea-Hypopnea-Index. If it's over 30, you've got a severe case.

Kellie, if you stopped breathing over 30 times in an hour, that would be severe sleep apnea. The metric that is often used is how many breathing events occur on average over the course of an hour. More than 5 is required for the diagnosis of sleep apnea; over 15 means moderate sleep apnea; and over 30 indicates severe levels of sleep apnea

it's normal for it to take some time to get used to. how long have you been using it and why do you hate it?
