- Hi everyone! Didn't even know this site existed, glad I stumbled onto it :) I have been using a cpap since about the beginning of last year, my husband also has sleep apnea & has been using one a few months longer than I have & my 27 year old daughter also has it and has been using one a few months longer than her dad. It strange though, we each are using the cpap but don't have the same reasons that drove us to the doctor. I love it!! Later I will detail why each of us use the machine, but, looking at the time, I think I need to go put that cpap on and get a few hours sleep before everyone else gets up in this house, didn't realize it was this late, which is the story of my life, really, lol. Can't wait to hear from some of you and what drove you to the doctor. Nite Terry
