If Machine Being Used, What Type? (e.g., Respironics M Series with A-Flex Auto-Adjusting CPAP): The Doctor confirmed that I have sleep apnea. I will have an appointment next week to try a mask.

NOTE: I am interested to find out the Pros and Cons of the "Dental Deviace"

If you are fairly new to the world of sleep apnea, please check out the FAQ tab and under the Groups tab, the new users group and the collective wisdom section. You may find those of particular importance in learning the language often used on the forum, solutions to common issues patients may have, and other information you may find useful.

We have had quite a few discussions on dental devices. Perhaps a search on this topic will bring up some information. They don't work for everyone and I think we have just a few people who use them exclusively with Sleep Lab corrobated positive results. There are a lot of different styles available. Good Luck next week, CPAP is not so bad. Keep us posted in a new discussion. That would also be the place for any questions you may have.
