It would be great if the not smoking and the weight loss was enough to relieve your sleep apnea. Sometimes it's easier to take care of one problem at a time, which seems to be what you are doing.
Yes, there are many different combinations of surgical procedures that can help with your sleep apnea. If it becomes a problem again perhaps consider a visit to an ENT who evaluates for sleep apnea if you are interested in looking in that direction.

Pamela, thanks for writing me back. I understand that being tired all the time! I am bipolar, too, so I know what that is like, it can be exhausting from literally one minute to the next. But, I don't know about interstitial cystitis, though running to the bathroom all night doesn't help your sleep. Sorry the cpap didn't work out for you, but a lot of folks have trouble with it. I'm told I snore, too, but luckily my partner falls asleep before I do and also, not so fortunately, snores louder than me. Are you going to pursue any other type of treatment, a dental device, or surgery. Perhaps losing all that weight helped you out a lot. Good luck.

Welcome to SleepGuide, Pamela. Please let us know more about yourself and why you are not being treated. Not trying to be rude, we're just always interested in new folks, and I'm interested in why you are getting no treatment. What types of symptoms are you having?
Anyway, welcome aboard!

Mary Z.
