Welcome to the fourm!

We are glad you joined. If you are new to sleep apnea and the different treatment options available, read the F & Q section and the group discussions for some informative information.

If you are having problems, share them with the group and maybe we can help solve them. If you have tips that you have found is beneficial to you, post those as others may find them useful as well.

Nonya, welcome to SleepGuide. I hope you find some information here to help with your studies. I think one idea in particular would learn the symptoms of sleep apnea and try to recognise them in your patients and order a sleep test when indicated. Many people have gone years without being diagnosed. If you started a discussion about being a medical student wanting to learn, I'm sure you would get a lot of feedback. I don't know what specialty you are planning for, but I applaud you progressive thinking and concern for your patients. One of our complaints is so few family doctors even know the signs of sleep apnea and so seldom think to order a sleep test.
