Melanie, as a member of the SleepGuide Crew I would like to welcome you to the forum. I see from your profile that you have sleep apnea and someone you care about has sleep apnea. We have a number of undiagnosed and untreated people on the forum., as well as those on the machine for many years.
Anything about sleep is up for discussion- sleep disordered breathing, narcolepsy, hypersomnia, etc., treatments such as CPAP (and its variations), dental devices, Provent, surgery, and the new electrical stimulator implant. We also try to help with any problems with machines, masks, docs, DMES, and sleep tests. One recent thread was about dating with CPAP and the noise of the machine straining a marriage.
We are glad to have you. Feel free to lurk or start a new discussion/respond to an ongoing discussion.
