Had My Second Sleep Study

Trying to sleep with a mask on my face for the first time was difficult.  The mask was comfortable but my problem was that the mask was there.

Kyle, if you post your comments about your second sleep study as a "new discussion" you will get more feedback.

Thanks, glad to have a new friend, Kyle.  I have been using CPAP for 3 1/2 years.  It certainly is normal to have a hard time getting to sleep with that mask strapped on your face.  Plus a night in the sleep lab is in no way a normal night.  We recommend sometimes that you wear the mask for a short period every day while awake and relaxing with TV , music, or something  to get used to the feeling.  Often that first mask they use for the sleep study will not be the mask you are using at home.  It takes time to adjust to everything about therapy. Have you started CPAP yet?
