Kim, glad to be a friend, thanks.  If you'll post what kind of problems you're having with the machine hopefully you'll get some helpful replies.  The forum tends to be rather quiet on the weekends and during the holidays.  I'll be any help I can be.  It's definitely an adjustment- getting used to the idea of having a chronic illness which requires treatment you go through the grieving process, plus getting used to using the machine all night is a big deal (if you can't do all night in the beginnng don't fret, work up to more hours).  So please don't be shy and post about your problems and we'll try to help.  Using the machine is worthwhile- hopefully you'll feel better and preserve your health in the meantime.  Good luck, Kim, keep me posted on how you're doing.

Kim, as a member of the SleepGuide Crew I would like to welcome you to the forum.  We are all about sleep. Sleep, lack of sleep, sleep disorders, wakefulness disorders, diagnosis, treatment or not, problems with treatment, tips, success stories- anything you can think of about sleep.  We help navigate the support system of sleep professionals, DMEs, and family support.   This forum is a place to fill in gaps in your knowledge and help others do the same,  deal with treament problems such as mask fitting and using the machine through the night and using the machine while ill.

I hope you feel free to post, or just lurk

Mary Z.
