Arnold, there are mask liners available- Pad-a-Cheek. RemZzzs, and Quietus which may help. Pad your nose with a bandaid or put moleskin on the part of the mask that rubs.  You may have to get a mask that does not touch the bridge of your nose.

Good luck, it's a tough problem.

Arnold, welcome to the US version of SleepGuide.  Our purpose is the same as your UK version.  We attempt to fill in the gaps in support left by doctors and DMEs by voicing our personal experiences.  Some people have a very hard time adjusting to the machine pressure, some complain of noise, we get frequent request for help with ill fitting masks. We have addressed the question of dating with CPAP and issues with spouses. One of our purposes and perhaps the most important is to enable people to monitor their own treatment by checking their numbers on the LED screen or with software.  We have all levels of experience and time using the machine.  When appropriate we suggest a visit to the sleep doc.

A forum is only as successful, active, and lively as the members who contribute so I do encourage being active on the forum though lurkers are always welcome.

Glad to have you.  I see you have a S9- it's a great machine and I hope you like the newest machine ResMed has to offer.

Mary Z.
