Anyone ever try meds to keep you alert during the day? If so wht did you use? So far the CPAP and coffee is not cutting it. Iam looking for something else to help.

If you are on CPAP you should not take any pills or (ENERGY) Drinks. If your on a AUTO CPAP thats the problem. Are YOU?

The machine I have is a Resmed Vpap Auto 25 set at 6/15. Why would a auto be a problem?
I guess we are the only ones who refuse to use auto-anything. We get so many patients in here that have had thier therapy completely messed up by those God awful machines. 6-15 is too high. You are being treated for central sleep apnea? Or are they trying to help you with tolerence issues?
The main reason auto is a problem is a small tube is not going to provide the data needed to run the machine. Plus the parameters they have set 6-15 is way to wide of a range.
