Joe, you really need to look at the charts as a whole, and look at several nights of high AHI's.
Any way you can post a typical night or two of "Daily Events" here? I don't think I'd be focusing on VS--if your AHI is too high, you need to look at what might be precipitating the events (apneas, hypopneas, and centrals), and whether there is a signficant amount of periodic breathing.
Those VS scores are low--mine are in the 20's to 50's some nights! Don't let those VS scores cause you to overthink this.
I'm a little confused by your post, but I think your average AHI is around 2.0? If that's so, how do you feel? An AHI of 2.0 is perfectly good as long as you are feeling well. Sometimes people get really wrapped up in the data instead of how they feel. If you are feeling good at 2.0, then nothing's "broke", so don't fix it.
