TSA-travel CPAP Question

Question from someone preparing for a flight:

Message: I have a quick question about traveling with a CPAP machines and airlines. I already checked out TSA website but its not very clear. Do you guys know what kind of machines are accepted. I called the airlines and NOT ONE person has been able to give me a definite answer. Thats why I am reaching out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou

As far as I know any type of XPAP machine is accepted.  They may take it out of the case and swab it for explosives (if carry on- always recommended).  I have never had any trouble getting through security.
