I have been a mouth breather for as long as I can remember but only at night when I sleep. I don't have any nasal or sinus problems. I think it just became a habit when I had asthma as a child, which I no longer have. This obviously became a problem when I started cpap therapy and wanted the least invasive and most comfortable nasal pillow mask. I didn't do well with a chin strap so bought the rather expensive "chin up strips". I have been using these for almost 3 months now. I am hoping I won't need to use these forever. Have any of you that are (or were) mouth breathers been able to train yourself NOT to breathe through your mouth when you sleep? Thanks.
