I'm 29 and had OSA, 137 AHI per hour, for about 10 years.  Got a CPAP but used only once.  Hated the feeling and had a deviated septum so it didn't do anything for me.  Finally decided to have my tonsills taken out and took care of my deviated septum.  First couple days were rough but I think it was because I had both done at the same time.  Stayed home for about 3 weeks.  It cured my sleep apnea and wish I've had it done a long time ago.

Did you have a sleep test done to confirm that your apnea is cured?

If so, I'm very happy for you.  If not, you can't know whether it's cured or not.
