TalkAboutSleep.com Offering Free 30 Day Mask Return Assurance

You'll have 30 days to try a CPAP mask and if it doesn't fit well, just call customer service toll free, and TAS will set you up with a return authorization. You'll be responsible for returning the mask and TAS will credit you the cost of the mask, excluding shipping.

There is a limit of two mask returns per customer per month.

Isn't this supposed to be industry standard?
With cpap.com you have to purchase expensive return   insurance, but you do not pay return postage.  It might (should) be the industry standard for DMEs.

Awww, Rock. You "babe in the woods"! So innocent to the ways of so many DME providers.

Far too many local DME providers don't offer or admit to the manufacturers' generosity regarding mask exchanges. Others out and outright deny it. Far too many that do allow for mask exhanges limit it to one exchange. And the online DME providers seem to be split amongst those who offer no exhange privilege at all or who limit an exchange to those who purchase special mask exchange insurance and, frankly, the cost of that "insurance" to me is excessive. Altho, given the rise in shipping due to the rise in gas prices I suppose the "insurance" isn't all that excessive when they are trying to recouperate shipping for two ways.

interesting.  so they've started a DME branch of their business?    hope they succeed!

Mike

TAS has had an online and, I believe, local DME business for at least several years, Mike. Their apnea support forum is not all that busy as apneasupport or cpaptalk or even here but they have some of the best articles and interviews re apnea and PAP therapy of any on the net.
Hi Judy, thanks for educating me about TAS, and pardon my ignorance of them.

Hey, I've never expected you - or anyone else - to know everything about everything, Mike.

However, when and if you ever start walking on water, let me know, will you?? I ain't never knowed no jeenyus. *wicked grin*
