Has anyone tried both of these?  I am now on the Swift LT for Her.  While the best of any I have tried so far in 111 day sit still is not quite right.  It may be that I don't have the finese' to do the adjustments correctly.  My AHI is now lower then initially (3.1)  Pillows are good but the head gear keeps on riding up the back of my head.  Have a small head/face.  I was wondering if the Swift FX adjusted easier or fit better?  Help??

That should be 11 days NOT 111 days.  :(
Ginny, I have never tried and am not familiar with these pillows.  I had a similar problem with a mask one time when the bottom strap kept riding up on my neck.  If your pillows have a top strap, well I tied the top strap of my mask to the bottom strap with a length of shoestring.  Problem solved.  One thing I have also done with slippery straps is to wear a thin knit cap just over the crown of my head- that kept the straps in place.  In fact I still  do it with my FitLife Total Face Mask and it works great.  Good luck, getting these pillows and masks to fit right is the hardest part of therapy I think.
Yes, the back strap keep son riding up.  I will try the shoe string tip!
Thanks for the link, I'm in need of a new cap, Mike C

I have about a dozen of these caps I wear from my motorcycling days. Really helps hold my headgear in place & hopefully will make Summer a bit easier too?

Hi Ginny,

I use both of these masks.  The Swift LT for Her was my first mask that I used for about the first 6 months.  I did well with it, using the extra small size pillows.  Then I decided to try the Swift FX which was very new at the time, and got a lot of positive comments from users (going on ten months with that one).  I prefer the lightest, least confining mask I can use, and find both of these good in that way.  I had to special order the extra small pillows for the FX as the small was so big on me that it leaked terribly.  I will soon order a new mask, and am thinking  of going back to the LT for Her.  Even though it has more of a stiff "guard" on the straps by the nose piece, the custom pads on it make it comfortable, and I think that element helps it stay in place better when I am moving around during sleep.

As for the head straps, I have that slide up issue as well.  I usually pull some hair over the strap and that holds it down mostly.  It is not perfect, but is better than having the mask come off and waking me up.  It also leaves a ripple in my hair the next day unless I wash it in the morning.  If you have short hair, that may be of no help.  I don't remember as much of a problem with that on the LT for her, but I'll have to try it again.  I have issues with the way the straps and their seams and velcro pulls cause pressure on the side of my head as the pillow presses them into my head.  This can drive me nuts when I am having a migraine "predome" , the time before the head pain starts but my head is very sensitive.  You will have to play with the strap adjustments and if you find a spot that is just right, mark it with a marker on the strap so it is easy to reset when you take it apart for cleaning.  Also, the straps can lose some elasticity over time, so may need readjusting.  You may want to check  with your DME for a smaller size head strap, which might be special ordered for you, or even a "child" size if needed.

The best fit will just depend on your personal needs and head shape and size.  It seems nothing is perfect, and if it is perfect for awhile, that will change over time, and need new adjustments.

I wish the LT for her had the extra soft, flexible tube that is about a foot long, like the FX, but I still sometimes get confused putting the pillows back on the FX frame after washing, and have to redo it so the straps are not twisted.  That was never a problem on the LT for her.

I don't know if my comments will be useful to you, but it sounds like you are making progress on working out your own needs.  I also use an ace bandage strap for a chin strap which may affect how the head strap stays in position.  I am thinking of trying an actual chin strap designed for that, but am skeptical of all the straps on my head and how uncomfortable that might  be, not to mention getting it all on and off.

Oh, thank you so much for all the info.  It's nice to be able to "talk" to someone in the same boat!   I did have it on all night.  It seems the first hour or so is the worst as far as comfort. I too use the ex-small pillows on the LT.  Have to pick up an over night pulse ox Thursday and will ask about trying the FX but sounds like the LT is better.  I just got a "wrap or cover" for my tubing and it is much quieter and seems better.  The CPAP pillow is for the birds.  Wasted money on it.  Will see if I can find someone to give it to.  Also have head gear used one time I would like to donate to someone.  I will ask about the smaller sized head gear to try.  Thanks again.
