SUDDEN INCREASE IN THE AHI AND LARGE LEAK AFTER USING AUTO CPAP FOR TWO MONTHS;REASONS

HELLO IAM A NEW SIGN UP FOR THE SLEEP GUIDE . IWAS INITIALLY HAVING AN AHI OF 4-5 AND AFTER USING THE AUTO CPAP FOR TWO MONTHS, SUDDENLY IN THE LASTWEEK MY AHI WAS SHOWN AS 25.3 FOR 7DAYS AND 9 FOR 30 DAYS.  THE LARGE LEAK WAS SHOWN AS 43 FOR 7 DAYS AND 11% FOR 30 DAYS .  CAN ANY FRIEND CALRIFY AND EDUCATE ME WHY THE SUDDEN INCREASE IN THE AHI AND OTHER PARAMETERS THOUGH I HAD BEEN CONTINUOUSLY USING THE CPAP AND OBSERVING OTHER PRECAUTIONS.  THANK YOU. A high leak will cause your AHI to go up. What mask are you using? What is your current pressure?

It's good you continuously use your machine.  When we're compliant these setbacks are even more disturbing. I would try getting the leaks under control and if that doesn't help you can try raising or lowering your pressure just 0.5 cm weekly to see if that helps.  I would go down a bit then up little by little.  Too much pressure can be as bad as too little.

Also, are there any changes in your meds or sleeping habits lately?
