Still feeling lightheaded after a month of cpap therapy???

I am so happy that I have been successful with my new mask....the only problem is I still wake up in the morning feeling lightheaded and remain that way for a chunk of the day....I am slowly weaning myself off of my meds--can the weaning process be to blame for feeling this way??? (Maybe I should speak to my doc about this)

I thought that using my cpap would get rid of that feeling...or could it be something else going on??? If anyone can shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate the feedback.

Thanks

I have had that feeling of being lightheaded when coming off of a drug, or coming off of it too fast. So now, I reduce the does really slowly, with the doctors permission of course. That seems to help the dizziness.
I think asking your doc is definitely a good idea, esp since this is happening while you're changing med doses. Just in case.

I think there are a lot of things that can cause dizziness/lightheadedness too. BP is one, maybe anemia or something like that is another. I suppose it possible you're just high on all that extra oxygen you're getting, but I'm not sure that really happens. ;)

let us know what you find out!
Thanks I will be seeing my doc tomorrow--this feeling really is unsettling
