Well, not exactly.  But what I have done is to raise the bottom of my bed 4 inches by placing several 2 by 4s under the frame.  Thus I have been sleeping in a slight head downward slope the past two months.  And I know I might jinx myself by writing this, but I feel mentally sharper and less groggy.    My oxygen saturations hover around 93, one point higher than usual. (I live in the mountains a mile high, so less oxygen)  I take it I am bringing more blood and oxygen to my brain while I sleep.  I also seem to be sleeping deeper, with alot heavier dreams.
I sleep on three pillows, so mostly my lower torso is a bit raised.  But I wonder how safe this is.  I am 46 and I probably am placing myself a little more at risk for an eventual stroke (but so too with sleep apnea).  But I think I am going to continue doing this, since overall it seems to be a positive experience for me.    Has anyone else tried this?  Noah
