haha the exact question I asked those guys and they e-mailed me this a while back .

"Well the exact explanation behind my research is based on the German scientist called H.W. Dove who discovered a way of allowing the brain to hear low frequencies. He played a tone of (say) 400Hz into one ear, and 410Hz into the other ear.

What happened was that a third beat was generated INSIDE the mind, consisting of the difference between the two tones. So, in this case, the listener began experiencing the 10Hz frequency... called the "binaural beat"... which in turn induced a state of relaxed awareness.

Our product is based on the binaural beat solution which changes your brain frequency from alertness (which is alpha waves), to relaxation (which is beta waves) and eventually to deep sleep which is Delta waves. "

hope that helps mate.
So show me the study. I do appreciate your salespitch, but I would still like to see a fact sheet before I support your product. You have still failed to show me why playing any music while trying to go to sleep is good sleep hygiene or good practice at all. You are going to have to do better than that in order for me to say that my textbooks filled with over 50 years of studies are wrong.

My own biological clock and sleep wake dependency cycle will allow me to go from alertness(which is alpha waves) to relaxation( which may be beta) Someone could actually produce beta at other times than relaxed. to a low amplitude mixed frequency wave with slow rolling eye movements and a slightly lower muscle tone. Moving on to a slightly deeper sleep producing sleep spindles and k complexes with more attenuated eye movements and an even slightly lower muscle tone. Next moving into a deep delta sleep which I guess could be called the most relaxing sleep as it is the deepest. Back to sleep spindles and Kcomplexes before going into REM. What about REM sleep? How does your companies hypothesis deal with REM and sleep cycles if it's goal is to help the brain produce Delta waves. Would this not actually upset the sleep cycle? I believe it would. If it did not keep someone awake it would interact with the REM cycle which is actually a light sleep. this could cause unwanted outside stimuli and a shortened sleep cycle. But what do I know I am just a sleep tech. SHOW ME THE FACTS OR QUIT SPAMMING OUR MEMBERS!
Hi,

Firstly, this is not a sales pitch. I don't care about this company or what research they have done, etc. All I know is that it has good reviews on youtube and other forums, its a free product and it helped me.

It helped me and its free!, I got nothing to lose.

I am not here to back up a product with any research or sell a product. I was just giving you guys a free tip.....simple :-).
Sorry Amman I did not realize it was free. I thought you were trying to sell it. I get going sometimes.
no worries mate. I hope it helps you guys as much as it helped me.

I will buy the full album (once again not a sales pitch lol) once it's out.
Well as I see it, you get a small sampling Rock and you are hit with a sales pitch about buying the rest of the tracks. So in my opinion, this isn't a "free" product -- just a gimmick to sucker unsuspecting people into buying the product.

I do have to ask if Amman has sleep apnea? If not, then why target the group if he has no vested interest in the product?

And as I said -- it is not a free product in the sense that you are getting the entire album -- just snippets to entice you to buy.
well I snore like a beast and I wake up sometimes in the middle of the night with a massive gasp for air.... so I believe I at least have some sort of apnea.

As stupid as this sounds, and I guess there is no direct correlation between apnea and music.

But all I am saying is that going to sleep with this music hooked to the ipod, my girlfriend noticed that I stopped snoring and I noticed that I dont wake up in the night anymore.

once again this sounds stupid but it worked for me and I was happy because my girlfriend actually enjoyed sleeping with me again lol.

Anyway's this is just my personal little success.
