I've noticed that the previews for the new series,Men of Certain Age on TNT, that one of the characters, played by Andre Braugher, has sleep apnea. At least, I am 99.9% sure that is a CPAP machine I see next to him by his bed AND there is a scene w/him nodding off at his desk.
I'm wondering how much they will deal w/his sleep apnea on the show and what it will feel like seeing someone with SA portrayed on TV.

Very cool. I like how it sounds as if they're working his CPAP treatment into the background of the show, even if not making a big to-do about it by calling it out blatantly in the show -- that kind of mimics real life: it's something that we live with as part of the backdrop of our everyday existence, but certainly not something that defines us. . . at least that's what it's like for me.
I think that is definitely a CPAP machine and mask beside his bed. The mask is not on, LOL, but maybe he just took it off. In one of the later scenes of the preview he is in the hospital with a bandage on his nose and the guys are telling him he fainted. Got sleepy and passed out?
Thanks for the heads up.
