Hello Sleep Apnea Community,

I am not personally affected by sleep apnea, but my brother IS to the worst level possible. He is 27 years old, a single father with a 5 year old daughter and a 7 year old son. He has been in ICU since July 10th due to sleep apnea which caused heart failure and respiratory failure. He came in with so much Carbon Dioxide in his blood that it is a miracle he doesn't have brain damage. He had a trach inserted last Thursday, so is no longer medically sedated 24/7, but is still on the ventilator (life support). 

His sleep apnea was treated, but with the wrong mask. He had a nasal cannula, but needed a full-face since he sleeps with his mouth open.

Since you guys are a part of this community, I felt that it would be a good place to look for support. I have created a "Human Tribe" for James for fundraising purposes.
