So I've been using my cpap just over a month now and I am now developing a horsey cough and slight nasal congestion....is this going to affect my therapy? ( I use a nasal mask) Do I wear it, don't I wear it? My 13 year old daughter hits the roof if she sees me without it for any reason....which is good I guess :)

TIA,
Lori

You should always wear your mask if possible. You might want to purchase a Full face mask for occasions like this one. Also it is usually pretty easy to get a good allergy medicine due to the CPAP causing congestion. I think alot of the members are big fans of the netipot. I hope I spelled that right.
Keep on using it, you may need to do something to clear up the congestion.
I have a full face mask for those times when I can not breathe in or out of my nose.

No matter how sick I am, I use my machine as I need the most recuperative sleep I can get, especially when sick.
