I'm not endorsing this by any means, just saw this advertisement in case anyone in the Bay Area is interested in being paid to participate in a sleep apnea research study

Living in the Indianapolis are we get to do alot of sleep research with Lilly. They have been known to pay up to $600 a night 3x a week for qualified candidates.
that's pretty good money for a night's sleep assuming they don't stick anything down your throat or do anything invasive.
I have been involved with two of these studies and no such thing has happened. Both studies involved daytime fatigue with no signs of sleep disorders. As a tech I had to confirm that they were getting a good nights sleep and still experiencing fatigue. In pahse one and 2 we ruled out anyone with any physical or psychological evidence that might result in fatigue(ie apnea, insomnia, drug problems, narcolepsy). In both cases another lab got to do phase 3 which was a trial to end daytime fatigue. I am still waiting to see the final results.
