ResScan 3.7 and Resmed VPAP Auto vs Resmed VPAP Auto 25

Is anyone using the Resmed VPAP Auto 25 in auto mode who also has the ResScan 3.7 software?

I would be interested in seeing what the Detailed Pressure graph looks like and if it is any different than the Detailed Pressure graph from the Resmed VPAP Auto.

It was interesting to see the Detailed Pressure graph for the Resmed S8 AutoSet II. It is considerably different than the Detailed Pressure graph from the Resmed S8 AutoSet Vantage. I rather like it. In fact, I like it MUCH better than the way the AutoSet Vantage Detailed Pressure graph looks.

I'm curious if there is that much difference between how the VPAP Auto and the VPAP Auto 25 Detailed Pressure graphs look.

Working on it. As soon as I get 3.7 Ill post some graphs if I can.
Thank you, Chris.
Mike you should be very stoked about this system. I am going to have a couple rental units available at my company and I trialed one over night. This unit adjusted 30 times per breath, totally amazing, and comfortable. Very expensive!!! We are using this system for CHF clients with Cheyne-Stokes respiration it takes the rough sea so to speak and smooths it right out. Alot of older clients that are misdiagnosed with sleep apnea usually fail with cpap and on the auto 25 they fly as long as we can get the mask interface down. Cheers Ger
Ger, be aware that for some of us that transition between IPAP and EPAP can be very abrupt, too abrupt, in Spontaneous mode. And so far, none of our RTs have been able to figure out how to smooth that transition. EXCEPT, if the VPAP Auto or VPAP Auto 25 is switched to auto mode and the Pressure Support set to the range number between IPAP and EPAP. i.e. IPAP 11, EPAP 6, PS 5.

If you can figure out how to smooth that transition in Spontaneous mode do be sure to tell us, please!!
The Resmed VPAP Auto 25 with the Humidaire 4i integrated, heated, humidifier is advertised for sale at http://www.cpap.com/productpage-bundle/resmed-s8-vpap-auto-25-h3i-h...http://www.cpap.com/productpage-bundle/resmed-s8-vpap-auto-25-h3i-h..."> for $1545 and free shipping.

Given Resmed's MAP (minimum advertised pricing) policy instituted against the online DME suppliers it would be worth while to call the toll-free number to ask if they have an "unadvertised sale price" altho cpap.com is more "into" the Respironics products than the Resmeds and doesn't offer as good a "unadvertised sale price" if any at all for the Resmeds.

Respironics and Fisher & Paykel have also instituted these MAP policies against the online DME suppliers in response to pressure from the local brick and mortar DME suppliers so when shopping online for xPAPs it is worth a person's while to either call the toll-free number, or if suggested add it to the shopping cart or if suggested the coupon or smart code, to find out the "unadvertised sale price".
