For those of you who have the Small Quattro FX that came w/the Medium headgear and find you NEED the Small headgear (most won't): be advised that the lower strap clips do NOT come w/the headgear. Be sure to save the clips from the original headgear that came w/your Quattro FX.

I don't like the FX headgear. I switch them out for the Quattro.

You use the Mirage Quattro headgear w/the Quattro FX?? Or you switch your patient from the Quattro FX to the Mirage Quattro??

I really didn't care for the Mirage Quattro at all and love the Quattro FX which just shows to go you one man's steak is another man's poison.

I use the quattro headgear for the quattro FX. Just change out the clips.
Thanks, Rock!!! I still have that Mirage Quattro here somewhere. I'll have to dig it out and try switching and see how the Mirage Quattro headgear w/the Quattro FX works for me. As usual you have such nifty tidbits and suggestions. Youse a peach. And a keeper.

If you only knew the trial and error that went into that little tidbit. I got tired of the mask surfing my pt's foreheads! The Quattro headgear reduces the natural upward pull.

Now I only use these masks on people with small heads and features.

Hmmm. Didn't get a chance to dig for the Mirage Quattro yesterday. But I will dig it out and try it - just cause I can be a curious ole broad.

But - I haven't had a problem w/the Medium or the Small headgear pulling upwards. On the contrary, I find that late in the night, early in the morning if I develop some leaks I can stop them just by pulling the upper straps and back "square" up on my head.

This should be interesting when I find my Mirage Quattro and try this tidbit.

It works in the lab. I can't say how it works on an everyday basis. I have not been able to use the FX at home. It's still in the plastic wrapper as my sinuses have not taken a turn for the worse in a while.

Guess what I got Judy?.....................................an Icon:)
