I have used the referenced CPAP for two nights and I think I may get used to it. I would really like to know how much sleep I am getting. Is there some way this machine can tell me. If not, is there some additional machine or software that would do the job?

The RemStar Pro M Series CPAP machine has an LCD screen that shows 7 and 30 day averages, but not just what happened last night. To find out that detailed data, you need to read the smart card, which should be inserted into the back of your machine. To do that, you'll need the Respironics Encore Viewer software and the Infineer smart card reader. They're both available at a number of places on the internet. You can do a google search and find out how to purchase them. I highly recommend buying them (even though we don't yet sell them in our sister site ApneaLife.com ;-)

Not using it is essentially flying blind with your therapy, not knowing how you're doing.
