Thanks, Rock.

Thanks Rock.

I have a question but please keep it simple -- remember I have OSA and all the brain cells are not working LOL.

I recently was able to purchase a PR System1 Auto Bipap with BiFlex with 0 hours on it.  I jumped on it and have been using it for a week now.

Since my auto was set for a pressure range of 9 to 15 I set the bipap Ipap at 15 and Epap at 10 with a PS of 5.    I like the way it works and the first few nights had good data (haven't checked the last 2 days yet).

Can you explain how in auto bipap this works with the pressure settings I have?

On that setting your machine would always be at 15/11. That would mean that you will always inhale at 15cmwp and exhale against 11cm. The way you have it set up locks it in at a straight bpap pressure. If the pressure support was set to 4 then it would fluctuate between 13/9cm and 15/11cm.

How do I use the auto feature?  What should it be set at?

Technically that is a question for your doc. Just changing the PS to 4 would put into a true auto-mode.

Hey Rock ~

Thought I'd answer with a "Hello".  Hope you are well.

Best,

Renee

Hi Rock,What do you make of Dr Stasha Gominak's discussion on utube about Vitamine D3 and good sleep??? Good Sleep,Chris

Ps How goes the not smoking??

I take 1000mg of vitamin D a day. I have also changed my diet to a majority of raw food and vegetables. I feel 100% better and have been able to los and keep off about 15 ilbs. If my schedule were more conducive to a workout regime I would be doing even better.

I have good days and bad days with the smoking.
