In January I called Praxaire and tried to order a mask. They had to get authorization and it took forever because of my insurance. Long story short Praxaire sent the wrong mask and sent the 6 ft tubing that I did not order. I called immediately and Praxaire said they would send out new mask and a return label so I could send back the wrong mask and the tubing. As soon as I got it I returned it.
Well somehow the company that did the authorization for insurance company is billing me for both masks and the tubing. I called Praxaire to find out they have been bought by Apria (or something). Apria would not talk to me. I talked to Praxaire and they do not show I sent back the mask and tubing. Because I do not have the tracking number they said they cannot help me.
I asked them for a copy of my billing and they said that dept is closed. According to them it shows I have a credit on my account. Not sure how or why I had not been notified of that. They basically said that I do not owe them money and that they did not know how this other company can be billing me.
I called CareCentrix (the company I am getting the bills from) and told them I only received a mask anf filters and that I received no hose and only one mask. They said they have to send this out for research and it could take 2 weeks to get an answer. This was about a week ago.
Today I received three bills from them. 2 are the same invoice number and the same amt. One is for another mask. I am so frustrated. I do not know what to do. I agree I owe for one mask, one package of filters, that is IT!
Any advice?
