I've only been using my CPAP for about three weeks now. I have a GoodNight 420g at a pressure of 6 and a Mirage Swift II.

Over the last several days I've been waking up after about three to four hours with what feels like a bloated stomach. This feeling, and some nausea, seems to last throughout most of the day. I do have reflux but that has been under control for many months now through eating a proper diet. Also, I use a contour pillow to keep my airway open.

I'll be seeing my sleep doc next Tuesday and will discuss this with him. I've read on this board and many other places that a auto-machine may help with this issue. If my sleep doctor agrees, I'd like to get one. Besides, I'd like to pick up a data-capable unit anyway. Does anyone have any recommendations on a make and model? I'd like to go into this meeting with some added knowledge.

I use an M series apap with c-flex. The newer model has a-flex. I love my machine.

There are several different apaps out there and some do better with one brand over another. You will probably need to check to see which apaps the DME carries. It appears that most DME's carry a particular brand and balk about ordering other brands than what they normally carry.
I'd recommend the Respironics M Series Pro with A-Flex Auto-Adjusting CPAP or the ResMed S8 ii with EPR. both are excellent machines that I have used. make sure whichever you get also comes with humidifier.
