Hey folks
I guess Im kind of an old timer to CPAP. Its been 9 yrs on the hose, 8 of which was at the wrong pressure tho. Just last year I finally got a new auto with software and was able to then monitor my therapy. Instead of a pressure of 8 as I had been prescribed i found i should have been at 13. Have made all kinds of improvement healthwise since the change.
So how long has this forum been up and running? There seem to be some interesting discussion here --figured I better join up

Hi Ed,

Great to have you join us. Don't think I know anyone who's been on CPAP that long. You'll have to tell us stories about the old style cpaps --- they've certainly come a long way, haven't they?

This forum has been around a few months, so it's still a work in progress/ pretty new. Hope to see you around,

Mike
Welcome Ed.

My daughter-in-laws father has been on cpap for 8 or 10 years (I need to ask my daughter-in-law exactly how long). I don't know if he has had another sleep study or not.

Interesting that you had to suffer that long before getting it straightened out. Shows how inept some of the doctors are.
