Hi,

Just wanted to let everyone know that our site www.cpaplibrary.com has changed a little.

We still have all of the educational videos which are labeled education videos in the top links.

We have also started selling supplies. Our goal is to provide online buyers with the same experience that buyers with insurance get. Here is what we have done:

1) All masks purchased are eligible for our Mask Exchange Program. This program allows you to return a mask within 10 days for store credit like many DME's do. This credit can be used to get a different mask. Basically we offer free return insurance. Here are all of he details - http://www.cpaplibrary.com/mask-exchange

2) Mask Trial Program: If you think you might need to try a number of masks you can use our mask trial program which lets you try out masks before you buy. All you have to do is pay shipping. Here is the link - http://www.cpaplibrary.com/mask-trials

3) We offer a 365 day return policy on all unopened products for a full refund!

We feel that pairing this type of online experience with our CPAP Videos will help those who buy online get better service and support.

Thanks,

Dane Schapper

I share Mary's "opinion" (as you call it).

I never asked your question because it was -- is -- unnecessary.

If you choose to use this excellent service (as I have) and are concerned, then you can perform your own mask sterilization when your mask arrives. Here's information on an excellent germicide product:  http://www.cpap.com/productpage/Control-III-Disinfectant-Germicide-...

In your opinion.

Anyway, the non-answers (to both questions) was clear enough.

mollete,  you're repeating yourself.  This is a question best asked by those of us that use the mask trial program.

In your opinion.

However, now we're up to 30 bucks to try one mask (and used at that), so this is starting to really add up-- yet, this is academic because I don't want other peoples' disease in my house to begin with.

IMHO, this is more about credilbility.  There is no indication that this salesman complies with the regulations designed to insure your safety.

That said, you certainly have as much right to ignore that as I do to bring this concern to light.

Mollete,

If the fee were $30, I might think twice. It's not. Total cost for borrowing a mask is $14 -- $7 each way for postage and handling. That's utterly reasonable. Moreover, the opportunity to borrow and test a mask is a wonderful service.

Click here for the details:  http://www.cpaplibrary.com/mask-trials

And, again, if you have concerns about sanity, there is an easy solution: Use a germicide. Here's a link: http://www.cpap.com/productpage/Control-III-Disinfectant-Germicide-...

Well, in MY case, Mike, most of my friends likewise mean "sanity".  Maybe years and years of undiagnosed SA have left some of us a little bit, um, loco?  ;-)

BTW, now that we've assessed our respective mental states -- and exhausted this subject re: borrowing masks (I think!) -- I suggest an end to this discussion.

But that may just be a crazy suggestion from a SA nut!

Cost of shipping.......14.00

Cost of Control III....16.00

We're up to $30 ONLY if one must buy a new bottle of Control III for each use of a borrowed mask. One doesn't.

I have a bottle on hand, purchased long before I ever knew about Cpaplibrary.com. I sanitize all my equipment (masks, hose, humidifier) on a regular schedule. I'm not sure how long it will take me to use the whole bottle, but it's going to take a long time. A long, looooooong time....

Again, Cpaplibrary.com is a wonderful service, but I repeat myself.

Regardless, at this point this salesman's unwillingness and/or inability to respond these valid concerns has IMHO caused him to lose all credibility anyway.

Well isn't that interesting!

That site you sent me to buy disinfectant threw this guy out.

Very revealing...

What do you mean by "threw this guy out"?  Kindly clarify.

Mollete I am sorry if you do not like our trial program. That is well within your right. Many have found the program useful way to try a mask without having to buy one but it is not for everyone.

I have not been banned from anywhere and I'm not sure what that is all about.

Have a good day,

Dane
