My machine is saying it needs servicing, but money is short is there any help!

I have used my machine now for 3 years and it has made such a change in my life. For almost 4 years I had to sleep sitting in a chair. Once I was using the machine I have been sleeping so good, but I don't really have any support for the medical community here in town, neither with my doctor or with my machine. My insurance will not help with coverage until I met $5000 and don't know where to get help, is there any assiantants out there?

Joyce, where did you get your machine? Have you inquired about the cost of service?
Have you changed the filters (probably not the problem but you never can tell)? What machine do you have? What are the hours on it?

Since you are probably out of warranty you probably aren't going to have much luck getting it fixed for free. Although if you have a really good DME they should work with you (key word is should).

Have you tried some of the local charity groups in your area for assistance? I know that the Red Cross, Salvation Army, and a few other charity organizations help with meds -- don't know about DME equipment though.
Of course it is Sunday and nothing is open today and tommrow is a holiday. Some may not think it is a big deal, but my sleeping was trouble, and now is really worries me to not have it on.
Is it not working at all?
