I've read in numerous placed that melatonin would help sleep more soundly/deeply.  I was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea after going through a sleep clinic.  Prior to this I had tried melatonin as I was feeling so tired every morning.  I use a mouth appliance now with seems to have helped with 80% of my sleep issues.  I was curious if anyone used Melatonin successfully with either CPAP or a mouth appliance and could comment on what affect it seems to have on them.

Sal, I use melatonin, but find it does not seem to help my sleep. I am on BiPap. Trouble sleeping is a new thing with me. I feel like I am dozing, but not really going to sleep some nights until about three in the morning. So, sadly to say, I am not one it has helped, but have found no negative effects such as hangover from taking melatonin. I am going to stop taking it, but it would certainly be worth a trial for you.
