Masks
I go to clinic tomorrow to try out yet more masks. I have been given a few already but they have forhead supports, which give me a terrible headache. Am I within my rights to ask for a particular mask? Or would this be seen as out of order? I really would like to try the resmed Quatro FX full face as this has no forhead support. What do you think? Stand up for myself, and that will be a first, or just accept another forehead mask? No, I've just decided, I won't accept another forehead support mask.

I would stand up for myself. I hate the forehead supports too. Also gave me a headache. This one kind of pinches my nose, though. SOmething better (custom made, readily available) has to come along soon.....I HOPE!!!!

You certainly have the right to ask for any mask you want to try, Carolyn. Be sure ane explain the reason you want to try the FX. Good Luck.

Thanks for your replies. I went to clinic today and explained which mask I wanted to try, and why. The specialist nurse has ordered the resmed quattro fx for me. It should be here next week. Hopefully this will work.
