It's not the pressure that bothers me. I really don't know what it is. I just become wide awake when I put on the mask and no amount of relaxation exercises or whatever get me back to that sleepy state that I was in before I put on the mask. I will lie there for hours. The mask IS hot and my face does feel sweaty but that's not it cuz I have a fan that helps with that problem. I get very dry mouthed even though I have the hydration thing on max. But the biggest problem is that I just don't fall asleep. I was wondering if maybe there's something in the plastic that is making me have an insomnia reaction. But if no one else has had this problem, I doubt that's it.

Bi -level gives you a inhalation and seperate exhalation pressures. Often patients feel as if they're unable to exhale so this gives them that feeling. In some cases it will help patients breathe.

if you have the humidifer on high it will be hot. The Question you have to ask yourself is do I feel like I can't exhale the way I would like to? Maybe just put water in but dont turn it all the way up.(the humidifer). If you have a chance try Bi-Level if this continues.

the full-face mask is very difficult for some people to use. have you ever tried a nasal mask or nasal pillow mask?
