I have read that ANY light at night might interrupt your sleep cycle. So why does my CPAP light up like Times Square at night? Hummm. Seems sort of counter-intuitive.I actually put it in a drawer and shut it about 80% of the way so I don't have to see those little green lights at night. :>D
Body temperature also has a great deal to do with sleep. Your core temperature actually has to drop in order for sleep to come. This process is supposed to began at dusk.
I wonder if this could work for shift workers to help them sleep during the day.
