Just had my ResMed S8 Autoset II delivered!

And I do mean "delivered". It was thrown at my husband from a moving car as he stood on the sidewalk....... (not really). But it was "dropped off" to my husband (he signed the DME papers) with no instructions and no user manual. He was told to "just follow the prompts on the machine", and that he didn't really "need" a manual because it is just like my ResMed Escape. (really?? hummm) I am now reading through the user/clinical manual that you guys forwarded to me for this machine, so I actually have a fighting chance to set things up. I am hopeful that I can actually get this done before bedtime tonight. I have a feeling I will have more questions tomorrow.

I am shocked at the lack of care and professional support from the DME. But I am just going to keep talking to you guys on the forum and go to my doctor and make the best of the situation. I feel like I am informed because I read 90% of this forum most days. It is so very helpful, thanks to all of you who give your support and expert advice.

Lastnight I had another wonderful night using the new machine. And today I had a wonderful nap using the new machine! I can't believe the difference in having this top-notch CPAP. Like anything else, it pays to get the best. I am using the machine on autoset so it will be interesting to read my data before my doc appt in a few weeks.

I will post my data before I go in for my appt so I can ask the right questions to the doc. Thanks! bee
