Funny story last night. I have asthma, so last night right out of the blue I start coughing up a storm...Coughing with the CPAP on is quite an experience. It woke me up and I threw off the mask. Well...the nasal pillows go flying off the mask and hit the floor. I am on my hands and knees at 2:30 in the dark trying to find the little, soft plastic, invisible, nasal pillows on the floor. All without waking up my husband...or my 3 dogs. It rolled way under the bed right next to one of my sleeping dogs, I finally had to turn on the light to get the darned thing, which I couldn't reach so I yanked my shoulder out of place...and I couldn't get the nasal pillows back on the mask because I was so tired and confused.

Having a CPAP in your life is quite a thrill!! :>D

LOL. I know what you mean about the coughing as I too have asthma. Thank goodness I don't have a full face mask! Oh, but my favorite is sneezing while wearing the mask. Ewww!
Then there's the night two of the cats got into an argument about who was sleeping in our bed. I took off outta the bed like a rocket! Fortunately I had the hose hung over the headboard so my VPAP was pulled back into the wall (no room to fall) and against my mattress (again no room to fall). But when I hit the end of the hose my mask snapped off my face, I bounced back and the mask slapped back on my face. Talk about a rude awakening - and what COULD have happened to my VPAP!!!!
Nobody wants to be in the middle of a cat fight tied to the bed with a face mask! :>D LOL.

My dogs think I am from outer space when I have my mask on.:>D I am sure everyone that uses a CPAP for very long has plenty of funny stories.
