I have OSA and CYCLIC DEPRESSION, I also have all the symptoms of HASHIMOTOS THYROIDITUS.

Can anyone tell me if these are all linked and how.

Dave, this is worth reading. http://ajrccm.atsjournals.org/content/160/2/732.full.

know they do coexist and diagnosis between the two may be necessary.  I have hypothyroidism, have for many years before I was diagnosed with OSA, or had symptoms of either disease.  I didn't get the impression of a causal relationship between the two.  I wish I could briefly sum up the report, but it's kind of complicated.  Not bad reading though.

Have you had the blood tests for a diagnosis?  If not I urge you to do so.

I also have Bipolar depression which currently seems to be remitting a bit (or else I'm going into a manic phase).

   In Rocks study-

"CONCLUSION:

In the OSA patients, the prevalence of newly diagnosed clinical hypothyroidism was low; however, subclinical hypothyroidism was common among patients with OSA."
