Insomnia Treatment: Does anyone Know About the Fisher-Wallace Cranial Stimulation Device?
I am a sleep apnea patient but despite CPAP treatment I am not getting sufficient restful sleep; I apparently do not spend enough time in REM sleep. I saw a report on an insomnia treatment on “The Doctors" TV show on April 18 called the Fisher-Wallace Cranial Stimulation Device. It is an FDA approved device that requires a Dr. Rx and uses electricity to stimulate serotonin and other things to promote deeper sleep. I am usually skeptical and don't fall for gizmos and gadgets, but this looked interesting. I don't think that my health insurance would be willing to check it out, be part of a study, or give me a prescription for it. I would be willing to volunteer to test it.
