After my surgeries I have just undergone a full night in-lab PSG study (with a PES measurement).

This is the first time I have got an in-lab study.

Earlier, I have undergone various in-home studies inclusive a PSG study, which is normal procedure in Denmark.

I have now completely changed my mind about sleep studies. There is a huge difference. I had at least 40 wires connected to my body, and the data collected is enormous.

I must now wait about a week until I get my result, but I have a good feeling for the result (I have already seen some of this).

When I receive the final result, I will tell further about it.

I still believe that in-home study is good enough for uncomplicated Sleep Apnea.

interesting. i didn't know that in-home studies were the norm in Denmark. Is that true of most of Europe you think?
I am doing an in home study on Monday. The verdict is still out on these units with me. We use them in our hospital as an inpatient prescreen for apnea. The results that I have seen show the average AHI is higher on a home test than from a psg. Without performing both test at the same time it is hard to know how accurate these studies are.
