how to 'subcribe' to updates on discussions/articles

fyi -- someone asked me whether they could get email alerts for when articles/discussions get updated. yes, there is a way: for each and every discussion/article and for discussions/articles generally, at the bottom of the page there is a way to subscribe to an RSS feed, or to get email alerts. hope this helps. here's an image of what i'm referring to at the bottom of each page:

I have used the RSS connection at the bottom of the latest Activity frame and add it to my google reader with no problems. In fact I am updating this discussion from clicking on this in my google reader.
