I am still reading AHI in the 7-8 range and AI in the 1-1.5 range.  It seemed to help a lot when I increased my minimum pressure from 10 to 12.

Is 12 high enough or too high if my normal automatic pressure reading is about 13?
How else can I tweak my machine to reduce these numbers?
Does a tossing and turning  wife effect the numbers?

Thanks

Sorry if I ask something you have already stated. I haven't followed your posts closely.

Do you have the ResScan software?

What was your untreated AHI in your sleep study?

What was your AHI and AI when your minimum pressure was 10?

What is the leak statistic?

What position(s) do you sleep in?

How long have you been using CPAP?

How are you feeling during the day? Level of energy? Level of sleepiness or drowsiness? How does this compare to your pre-treatment energy levels?

Do you have any other health conditions?

(Tossing and turning is an indication your wife may have sleep-disordered breathing, but let's work on you first. :))
Thanks for your interest, Rooster. Here goes the answers:

I have a Resmed auto CPAP machine. I do not have software. My sleep study was about five years ago and the AHI was 38.
Before changing the pressure, my AHi and AI were in the range of 13 and 2 respectfully. My leak number is very low, around .5. I sleep on my side. There is no comparision between the pretreatment and post treatment health. I have overcome Cardiomyopathy since then. No special health problems. I do however feel a lot more rested if my AHI is 5 as compared to 10.

Yes it can affect your numbers. One bad sleeper can affect a house full of good ones. Has your wife had a sleep study?
She is going through Menopause.

All the more reason to be concerned that she has developed sleep-disordered breathing. For many women, menopause is the time for the onset or worsening of SDB. According to Dr. Steven Park, ".... as progesterone naturally drops in normal menopause, sleep quality can diminish, mainly due to the effects of progesterone on tongue and upper airway muscle tone. As the tongue muscle tone slowly drops, obstructions and arousals become more frequent, and you won’t sleep well."

See http://doctorstevenpark.com/index.php?s=menopause for more information.
