I had my sleep study last year. My machine was set on 14 as max pressure to be ramped up from 9. My doctor never really told me if this was mild moderate or severe. With a max pressure of 14 what do you think? And also what does these numbers mean? Thanks

As j n k stated there is really no correlation between your pressure and the severity of your sleep apnea. It sounds as if you have an auto machine set to start at nine and ramp up to a high of 14 as needed to stop apneas. Or you may have a straight CPAP which starts at a pressure of nine and ramps up to 14 where it stays. I was never able to get copies of my sleep lab reports, only the doctor's summary. I know everyone says get them, but some of us don't need them in order to have good therapy. Are you able to check your nightly data? If you do not know how to do this tell us exactly what kind of machine you have and someone will be able to tell you if it's data capable and how to check nightly leak, AI, and AHI.
